Software engineering for complex, regulated industries.
I'm Ramin, a medical doctor, software engineer, and independent technical consultant based in Zurich. I work with fast-moving companies on difficult technical problems, often under tight timelines.
My current work focuses on agent systems, knowledge graphs, and the tools required to run LLMs reliably in production. I also design high-throughput distributed systems.
Much of my career has been in regulated industries, where technical decisions demand a deep, practical understanding of the rules. I bring that knowledge into the work from the start, so teams avoid expensive rework and get to market faster.

Consulting
I take on a small number of engagements and work directly with founders and engineering teams.
- Technical advisory
- I help founders and engineering leaders make difficult technical decisions.
- Critical path
- I take ownership of difficult technical work when the stakes are high and time is short.
- Greenfield projects
- I take a new system from an open problem to production, then hand it over to the team.
